Elegant Curtain Rods

As mentioned in my prior post I had finally found the perfect curtains to enhance my Tuscan kitchen, now the search for the perfect medallion to hold them begins.

I found many, many sites with swag tie backs, mostly in rod iron. These were fine for a country style, but not for my style. I really wasn't sure what I wanted, but I knew if I kept looking that I'd find just the right thing.

I found lovely rods, and tie backs and scarf holders, but nothing worked. Until...... I found a site that has medallions. These medallions, or resin holdbacks as they call them, come in various designs and shapes, some very Irish looking, some simple, some very fancy.

The perfect choice for me was the Tandel in an unfinished finish. It will go perfectly with my curtains and enhance my Tuscan kitchen.

So, what's next? I think some new cookware. I'm also thinking of having a new countertop, sink and backsplash put in...
